Who we are: Mediphore Inc. is a New York based startup in the Digital Health & Healthcare IT Industry. We have offices in New York, California, Germany and India.

The company is an early stage startup, aiming to revolutionize the healthcare industry. Mediphore founders have pioneered a recently patented technology that enables seamless interoperability across healthcare stakeholders, leveraging a novel technology that can integrate processes and data handled currently separately in various silo systems. The core technology works by interposing a central brain that indexes and transforms data streamed from source nodes in real-time. Mediphore has already deployed the platform at hospitals in India, currently in final stages with some of the largest hospital systems globally and are in the process of ramping up US operations with key health systems.

Who you are: At Mediphore, we understand that web and mobile applications are at the heart of our success. We’re looking for a talented mobile application developer to spearhead our application development process and support the maintenance of our existing apps. • Have experience in building and maintaining mobile applications (iOS and Android) for our organization;
• Skilled in React Native or other similar frameworks;
• Able to collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure applications align with the organization’s goals, as well as customer needs;
• Can oversee the performance of applications to ensure they’re always running properly;
• Keen to improve our overall application development process and continuously finds ways to advance our apps.

• Build software that fulfills specific needs;
• Find solutions to security threats, viruses, or errors that might hinder the performance of applications;
• Carry out regular security and performance checks;
• Remain current on technology trends to keep our software as innovative as possible;
• Stay on track of the application life-cycle to ensure necessary updates are completed on time;
• Design creative prototypes according to specifications;
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch;
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing;
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.

The ideal candidate has:


• BSc/BA in computer science or relevant field, MSc/MA will be appreciated;
• A minimum of 3 to 4 years of proven experience (professional or otherwise) as a Mobile Application Developer;
• Ability to program in Python and other languages, deep understanding of core programming principles, including design;
• Knowledge and experience in using Git and other CI/CD technologies;
• Proficiency with project tracking software, such as Jira;
• Critical and analytical thinking skills, keen attention to detail;
• Excellent time management;
• Certified mobile application developer is a plus;
• Experience working as part of a development team, especially interacting with design and Q/A teams, product management;
• Strong communication skills;
• Project management experience;
• Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly and with minimal guidance.
